Increasingly, digital media is being incorporated into theatrical design. Ideal for students and faculty hoping to learn more about how to include video elements into production, this semi-participatory workshop will introduce attendees to the video design capabilities in QLab 5, including cueing, in-app video manipulation, live-feed video, projection mapping, and integration with sound playback. If attendees have QLab, they can participate along with the demonstration to practice programming and explore the software's features. Attendees without QLab can watch the presenter's demonstration of key features. The workshop will also include basics of projector setup and cabling.
