Join us and explore concepts of ALOHA (Akahai, Lōkahi, ʻOluʻolu, Haʻahaʻa, and Ahonui) as shared in the wisdom of Uncle Pono Shim and Auntie Pilahi Paki. In this session, we will share the deeper meaning of ALOHA, and why it is important for all of us -- parents, teachers, students, community supporters -- to develop a foundation of ALOHA upon which to build a meaningful community here in Hawaiʻi and beyond. We will share about the free, online Foundation of ALOHA program that offers families and educators opportunities for social connection, creative outlets, and Hawaiʻi values-based lessons to support our journey to return our homes, schools, and selves to centers for learning and healing, as well as other options for getting involved in family-friendly, local healing efforts that benefit land, sea, sky and people across Hawaiʻi. Led by Miki Tomita and Hye Jung Kim Tano from Education Incubator.
