The educationdata.org shared on March 29, 2022 that the average cost of attendance for a student living on campus at a public 4-year in-state institution is $25,487 per year or $101,948 over 4 years. Out-of-state students pay $43,161 per year or $172,644 over 4 years; traditional private university students pay $53,217 per year or $212,868 over 4 years. You’re thinking to yourself, “OMG! I haven’t saved that much money! What if I haven’t even started saving and my child is a Freshman or even Senior?! How will I increase what I have saved?” So many questions, so many concerns, so many sleepless nights, but don’t worry! I have some options for each parent and student no matter where you are with your funds, what age or income level you are, college CAN be in your future. You can do this!
