It is challenging to identify and serve students who are both gifted and dyslexic. Giftedness can mask dyslexia, the gift can camouflage the reading deficit, or neither can be recognized. How do we honor the gifts, and remediate the struggles? We will address identification and differentiation for these two exceptionalities.
