Explicit instruction is an evidence-based, systematic methodology for teaching academic skills to students across grade levels.In this session, Dr. Archer will present high-leverage practices and procedures for the Delivery of instruction that increase engagement, participation, and learning: 1) requesting frequent responses, 2) monitoring student performance carefully, 3) providing affirmative and corrective feedback, and 4) maintaining an appropriate pace throughout the lesson.
