The academy is aligned to the NC School Executive Standards and engages participants in monthly learning focused on leadership through book studies and interactive experiences. They learn directly from principals through panels, mock interviews, and a school swap. The SLA builds a strong leadership bench, ensuring capable leaders are ready to step into principal roles. In this session, participants will learn about the structure, strategies, and outcomes of the SLA and leave with practical ideas for designing their own leadership pipelines that reflect the needs of their district.
