Noam Shuster-Eliassi will share reflections on what it was like growing up in the only intentionally mixed Jewish-Arab village in Israel. Based on this personal experience, we will have an open discussion about the challenges and the failures of the peace camp in Israel and discuss what the young generation needs in order to bring about change. We will explore why the left is perceived as elitist, and how it could transform itself to include other parts of Israeli society, including by taking an economic justice perspective.
