Using high-performance computing resources can be quite difficult, access is usually via the command line. This is no obstacle for domain scientists with a background in computer science, but for non-experts this is often a difficult obstacle to overcome. With a web-based service portal, this entry hurdle can be significantly reduced by creating an access that can be used without additional knowledge and is therefore considerably more user-friendly. Furthermore, it is possible to use this web-based access to hide further difficulties behind a custom website for one use case. This website could offer possibilities to upload and process raw data and to configure and start simulations on the high-performance computers. In addition, you can then start an interactive visualization of large data sets, and thanks to server-side rendering, only small data packets need to be transferred. These make only low demands on the user's computer in terms of bandwidth, computing power and memory. With these methods a customized website was developed, which allows to start and evaluate flow simulations in noses without high-performance specific knowledge.
