Ever wonder what it feels like to be pulled around or grabbed when you’re least expecting it? What about someone telling you to go “over there” when trying to find your seat. The first part of this interactive session will be to discuss basic do’s and don’t’s of O&M, with the second half being an interactive session under blindfold (with or without a cane) locating different areas in the conference area without clear instruction and/or unwanted assistance. If you are new to the profession, we highly recommend you join us to gather an understanding of what it is like to be under blindfold and gain a very small insight into what our students/clients go through on a daily basis!
