Come and see how you can help build the next generation of engineers with the award-winning Scientist Maker Program! Built around short episodes of the multi-award-winning show The Paper Girls Show, this program integrates storytelling, hands-on engineering challenges, and real-world citizen science. Attendees will explore how digital storytelling strengthens STEM identity and growth mindset conversations, experience engineering challenges using simple, affordable classroom materials, and participate in authentic, real-world environmental citizen science using Marine Debris Tracker. Attendees will leave with practical strategies, implementation tools, and ready-to-use ideas to immediately strengthen engineering instruction in their own classrooms.
