Creating a cohesive STEM culture across K-5 classrooms is key to fostering 21st-century skills and preparing students for future success. In this engaging and collaborative session, participants will explore strategies to align STEM goals, skills, and activities across grade levels, ensuring a seamless progression of learning. Through practical examples, hands-on activities, and shared resources, attendees will learn how to: Map vertical skill progressions that build on prior knowledge, integrate common STEM themes into grade-level curriculum and facilitate cross-grade collaboration among teachers to strengthen alignment. By the end of the session, participants will leave with actionable steps, a framework for STEM alignment, and tools to cultivate a STEM-integrated culture that benefits both teachers and students.
