First, we will explore some best practices from our "STEM Success Checklist" - a practical tool developed through years of successes and setbacks. We will briefly highlight these practices and show examples of how we have implemented them into our own classrooms. Then, prepare to become the students! Participants will have the opportunity to delve deeper into learning with a few selected hands-on stations, each inspired by kid-friendly picture books. Experience firsthand how a story about a tiny turtle can lead to a scientific investigation of its life cycle, or how a tale about kindness can lead to the creation of chain reactions.
