In 2023, Expand Energy began their journey to enhance their existing safety management system and safety programs to focus on serious incidents and fatalities (SIF) prevention. This presentation will walk attendees through Expand Energy's journey in implementing their Serious Incidents and Fatalities (SIF) prevention program. It will include data to support the focus on SIF, a framework for SIF prevention, common exposures that lead to SIFs and ways to successfully kickoff and sustain a focus on SIF prevention for companies. It will specifically highlight how to achieve at different levels of the organization from executive leadership, field leadership to the "boots on the ground".
