The most important part of any Salvation Army disaster relief operation is service delivery. This course will look at how service delivery – from food service to disaster social services to bulk distribution -- is set-up, managed, coordinated, and demobilized through the Operations section. It will prepare participants to service in a leadership role within the Operations section on an Incident Management Team.
Who Should Take This Course: This course is an advanced level course for those individuals who will be deployed in a leadership role within the Operations section during a disaster.
Prerequisite(s): Introduction to The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services and The Salvation Army Incident Command System (ICS).
