Graphic designers, educators, and others responsible for everyday development and design must consider more than just plain language In order to create clear, memorable, and relevant patient materials. Taught by an art director embedded in an academic medical center, this session focuses on using design principles, learning theory, storytelling, and user-based participation in order to create the best content possible for health care audiences. Attendees will learn from clear before-and-after examples drawn specifically from health care settings.
