I'd been fully retired for 3 whole months when the new Dean asked if I would return to create a library diversity program. I agreed, and with the assistance of a great project team, I led the planning and implementation of our inaugural Library Diversity Council. The Council became an integral part of the library's strategic plan. We are currently in our 2nd full year of operation. This presentation will highlight the unique steps our team took to plan and implement recommendations for our diversity program.
