This interactive, multi-panelist discussion will focus on the Public-Private Partnerships (P3) in Hawai‘i. The panelists from UH, DAGS, and SFA, will share their professional experiences and lessons learned in the execution of P3 projects through the planning, development, and construction process. The session will provide attendees information on what is considered a P3, the importance of the role of a project champion, and the collaborative efforts of a multi disciplinary team working together to deliver a project. The session will also discuss stakeholder engagement related to project visioning, as well as the establishment of criteria and goals that allow projects to remain iterative and organic.
