This workshop will highlight the journey of a mother and daughter who faced academic difficulties, bullying, and racial discrimination during high school. Now a teacher, the daughter will share how these experiences have shaped her approach in the classroom; advocating for her students and making sure they feel heard and supported. Together, they will offer parents and educators actionable advice on how to empower students, handle bullying, and foster a culture of belonging in school.
