Topics covered include meaningful participation of parents and students, the changing role of students, and tools to enhance parent and student input for transition. We will also give a brief overview of the ADR Project and Facilitation. While this presentation focuses on the IEP process, the information is designed to support families in being able to more clearly articulate their future vision and what supports are needed. This session brings together parent and educator perspectives. and is co-presented by PEAK Parent Center and the Colorado Department of Education’s Office of Special Education.
