Community Partners: Building Relationships to Achieve Common Goals
Building relationships with community partners to achieve a common goal while giving low-income individuals in the community better access to healthy foods, and other educational and community services.
The presentation will go over building how to start and grow relationships with community partners to grow outreach and expand programs. The presentation will review building a strong Health Services Advisory Committee and program implementation with community partners including grant opportunities and networking. The presentation will give examples of how CAC Lexington has partnered with various organizations to offer services to participants.
1. Participants will identify tactics to use in building community partner relationships to increase program development and implementation.
2. Participants will identify long-term goals of how they want their program to move forward in the next 5 years in order to help them identify which community partners to work with and first steps moving forward.
