The retreat opens with roundtable discussions where booksellers share their top event related questions, followed by a classroom-style session focused on key topics:
• Best Practices for Large, Mid-Size, or Small-Scale or Non-Author Events
• Publisher Expectations, Process and How to Get on Their Radar. Using Edelweiss for author grids.
In the final roundtable hour, participants dive deeper into topic-specific conversations before wrapping up with an optional casual networking lunch.
This is an essential session for anyone looking to elevate their store’s events programs ranging from large scale author tours to creative community events.
