​Celebrate the award-winning authors of the Heartland Booksellers Award and the Voice of the Heartland Award. The vibrant Isaac Fitzgerald will host. Award winning authors will attend the Opening Reception following the ceremony. ​The Heartland Booksellers Award is a joint award given annually by the Great Lakes Independent Booksellers Association and the Midwest Independent Booksellers Association. The Heartland Booksellers Award is a reflection of handselling at its best, as all the books are selected directly by independent booksellers, and celebrate literature in the Great Lakes and Midwest, with content about the region, or an author from our region. The final event of the ceremony will be the 2025 Voice of the Heartland Award presented to Ross Gay.
