The session will provide a discussion of techniques for emotional regulation in everyday life.
Objectives:
Attendees will Identify and discuss everyday aspects of recognizing and identifying emotions and their sources.
Participants will examine barriers that inhibit emotional regulation and nurture realistic core beliefs about themselves.
Participants will implement techniques to manage and honor their emotions without denying their right to experience those emotions based on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques.
