The jive is a swing dance step that requires a partnership of movement and nonverbal communication between two dancers. When we make failure a partner, rather than an enemy, we learn how to give it some credit as a teacher, while also taking back our power to maintain a sense of self-worth and hope.

Objectives:
Attendees will understand the neuroscience behind thoughts and emotions, and their electrical and chemical connection. This includes understanding the human threat response (fight/flight/freeze) of the nervous system and the emotional response to perceived danger.
Attendees will observe the physical change in their bodies when their brains choose to make a mindset shift.
Attendees will practice creating a new experience related to a specific circumstance (a failure) by determining how they'd rather feel and adopting a new thought that creates the desired emotional response. This practice will be conducted using The Thought Cycle Diagram coaching tool that I developed for this purpose in my private practice.
