This hands-on session focuses on pediatric medication administration for AEMTs and Paramedics, with a particular emphasis on safe and effective dosing in emergency situations. Participants will explore best practices for administering medications to pediatric patients, incorporating the use of MI-MEDIC cards to assist with accurate dosing and decision-making. Emphasis will be placed on recognizing pediatric-specific needs, understanding pharmacological considerations, and ensuring safe, evidence-based practices in the field. This CE activity is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) for 1 Medication Delivery CEH.
