Course description:
Introduction to vehicle extractions will give the student guidance to which incidents are actually an extraction vs HRVS or a barricade. They will further be introduced into the saftey considerations prior to attempting an extraction. The breakdown and principles of two and three officer extraction team work. This will cover the physical extraction from the drivers side and other compartments of a vehicle. Time dependent we will look at adding in weapon presentation from the suspect and team movement options when disengaging
