Instructor Biography
Johnny Moffitt is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of dedicated service in U.S. Special Forces. Originally from Batesville, Arkansas, Johnny is a graduate of the SFARTAETC and the Special Forces Sniper Course (SFSC). Most recently Johnny was the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) at the Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Course, where he was instrumental in developing the skills of elite operators. Throughout his career, Johnny, has deployed overseas 15 times, including 9 combat deployments, showcasing resilience and commitment to mission success. Beyond military service, He has leveraged his extensive experience to consult for several companies in the firearms industry. As a member of the Vortex LE/MIL Training Team, Johnny continues to influence the training landscape for military and law enforcement professionals. Outside of work, Johnny is a sponsored competitive shooter in the action shooting sports and enjoys spending time hunting, fishing, and engaging in outdoor activities.
Johnny Angel is in Law Enforcement serving as a shift Sergeant, SWAT team leader as well as a multitude of other roles. Angel instructs in our American Patriot Series, Tier 1 Series and Law Enforcement courses.
Mike Pyles is a Law Enforcement Officer with a lot of experience in the streets, schools and hospitals. Mike is an NRA pistol instructor, USSCA HDCC instructor and a certified Force on Force instructor along with a certified ILEA Instructor. Pyles is well balanced so expect to see him teaching many of the different courses

Combat Marksmanship is a course designed to increase the effectiveness with skills and add drills that support combat movement and CQB. The course will cover:
Pistol/Rifle Transitions
Weapon handling fundamentals
Sights
Reloading
Malfunctions
Movement/Foot work
Target Transitions
Shooting in depth/width
Student Equipment Required
Clear eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1, range belt, pants with pockets, weather appropriate gear, range gear, no open toed shoes, food, hydration, and a positive attitude. Note taking materials, AR-15 style rifle with sling, minimum of 3 magazines, kit with mag pouches. Handgun with a minimum of 3 magazines and retention holster. 750 rounds of commercially loaded ball rifle ammunition, 250 rounds of commercially loaded ball pistol ammunition.
