While the climate negotiations run against time to decide on and implement actions to keep our world within a 1.5C limit, parties to the CBD are embarked on a mission to decide on a Post 2020 Global Biodiversity Framework that should address key environmental problems of our world.
In both spaces, and despite all efforts, the progress made is insufficient and some of the main blockers are those big polluters that only seek to maintain the status quo. Meanwhile, all over the world, civil society and peoples’ movements are not only demanding real change, but creating and implementing real solutions.
