The New Weather Institute is a co-op and a think-tank, created to accelerate the rapid transition to a fair economy that thrives within planetary boundaries.
Hosted by the Rapid Transition Alliance and New Weather Institute. There are accelerating moves by cities to reduce car traffic and cut air pollution - both for public health and safer cities, and to tackle the climate emergency. We will hear from activists and campaigners at the heart of initiatives that are pushing for and making car free cities a reality. We will explore the possibilities as well as the obstacles for cities in this need of rapid transition.
