Is your facility prepared to respond to urgent threats like Candida auris and carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae? This session will examine Minnesota’s strategy to contain emerging multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs) through the lens of a 2019 outbreak involving 11 patients and 8 facilities across the healthcare continuum. Together, we’ll engage in discussion about interfacility communication during care transitions and develop strategies to effectively protect patients and defend our communities from MDRO threats.
