This day-long workshop will help participants understand and meet the needs of their donors and potential donors from mission to messaging. Using well known fundraising literature, group exercises, first-hand experiences and case studies, participants will identify potential gaps and areas for growth. This session will be productive for those newer to fundraising or those with new leadership responsibilities that include fundraising. You will move through a fast-paced overview of fundraising best practices, tactics and strategies from direct mail and digital communications to events, board governance, nonprofit finance and face-to-face solicitation.
