This presentation will first review currently available and evidenced-based treatments for gambling disorder. Then, emerging data from treatment approaches for mental health and addictive disorders that may impact the course of gambling disorder will be discussed, including, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Ketamine, Psilocybin and Glucagon Receptor Agonists. Clinicians and prevention specialists will be encouraged to review how these treatments may apply to individuals with gambling disorder and co-occurring disorders and how collaborations with other mental health and addiction treatment providers can be forged. Learning Objectives: By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to: 1) List three evidenced based treatment for gambling disorder 2) Describe mechanisms of action on how transcranial magnetic stimulation may treat gambling disorder 3) Describe mechanisms of action on currently available medications, ketamine, psilocybin and glucagon-like peptide receptors may treat gambling disorder
