California’s electricity rates have increased dramatically in recent years, a problem which is acutely difficult for working-class residents. High rates also make it more difficult for California to achieve its electrification goals. This session will provide an overview of how California can make electricity more affordable for all through accelerated deployment of distributed energy resources like rooftop solar, microgrids, and electric vehicle batteries.
