Begin with an awe inspiring, energizing and meditational trek through the Fushimi Inari Shrine and its surrounding gardens. You will make an in-depth exploration of Kyoto sake country in the Fushimi quarter, which is known for its excellent water and rice, the main ingredients in sake. Tour a craft sake brewery and enjoy tasting the various types of sake produced there. Next, you will be treated to dinner in the in the heart of Kyoto’s sake district at Kappa Country. This restaurant has a long history of sake brewing and in more recent time begun brewing its own line of delicious, original craft beer.
