Most root cause investigations in food and cannabis operations stop at the symptom: retrain the operator, recalibrate the sensor, replace the part. Six months later, the same failure returns wearing a different mask, often surfacing during a regulatory inspection or a customer audit. This Advanced Strategic RCA & CAPA workshop trains quality, food safety, and operations leaders to investigate past the symptom and into the systemic, root-level cause — and to prove it with evidence a regulator or auditor will accept.
Across two condensed days, participants build a complete, eight-section RCA/CAPA investigation file on a real, unresolved problem from their own plant: a recurring deviation, a contamination event, a potency variance, a customer complaint, or a recent regulatory finding. Every tool taught — 5W2H, Fishbone, Logic Tree, the Root Cause Matrix, FMEA-based prioritization, Poka-Yoke control design, and statistical Verification of Effectiveness — is applied immediately to that real case, with the instructor coaching each participant's file in real time.
