This session explores how True Terpenes developed the cannabis industry's first in-house toxicology program, contributed to the development of ASTM International's cannabis vape ingredient safety standards, and more recently, subjected its toxicology program to an independent third-party audit conducted by an inhalation toxicologist with FDA-regulated product experience. Rather than treating the audit as a compliance exercise, the company used it to validate its scientific framework and strengthen its ingredient review process, reinforcing an ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and consumer safety.
