This presentation will outline the value of certifications and how they can be used to gain access to markets for cannabis/hemp cannabinoid products. For instance, producers of cannabinoid herbal materials seeking access to the European market must demonstrate compliance with EU-GACP guidelines and are subject to audits and strict contractual agreements with their buyers. The right cGACP certification is an effective way to demonstrate this compliance and access Europe's growing medical cannabis market. Come this November, non-intoxicating cannabinoid products containing less than 0.4 mg total THC-class cannabinoids (those with similar cannabimimetic effects as THC) become legal in the US, licensed under hemp, and most likely regulated as dietary supplements. Getting a dietary supplement certification means your products gain access to big-box retailers across the country.
