From the perspective of a queer BIPOC Professor in the Humanities, the program explores the many options for BIPOC students in the Arts and Literature. While the importance for BIPOCs in STEM is apparent, we can't forget about the importance of BIPOCs in creative fields, or that BIPOCs have created lasting artistic movements, such as hip-hop, jazz, and spoken-word poetry.
