NOTE: THIS SESSION WILL ALSO BE OFFERED AS A CONCURRENT SESSION Analyze the role of AI literacy in addressing concerns about student cheating and fostering ethical AI use in grades 6–12 classrooms. Examine strategies such as identifying AI-generated work without unreliable detectors, designing AI-resistant and AI-integrated assignments, leveraging stakeholder resources, and applying the NCDPI AI “Zero to Infinity” scale. Apply practical approaches to shift classroom conversations toward responsible AI use and implement immediately usable strategies that promote ethical, transparent student engagement with AI.
