Great CTE learning does not have to stay inside the four walls of a classroom. In this engaging session, a Public Safety teacher will share creative, outside-of-the-box strategies for designing student experiences that increase engagement, build confidence, and open doors to real career opportunities. From scenario-based learning and hands-on simulations to community partnerships, cross-program collaboration, and authentic problem-solving, participants will explore ways to make instruction more relevant, memorable, and career-connected. While this session will highlight examples from Public Safety, the ideas can be adapted for any CTE program area. Educators will leave inspired with practical, ready-to-use strategies for turning everyday lessons into powerful experiences students will remember long after class ends.
