An approach to self-advocacy in collaborative spaces led by Clara Superfine and Gabrielle Salvatto.
Artists have innately curious minds; our goal in this workshop is to help you harness it. Through a research framework and embodiment practice, we will collectively empower self-advocacy through creative pathways and physical autonomy. In the interactive session we will share tools to approach your art form with curiosity and informed boundaries and consent. Together we will explore playful games and movement tasks to integrate these principles through the body and in connection to one another. Through collaborative action we can learn to vocalize and physicalize our needs so that we can do our jobs feeling safe, empowered and to the best of our abilities.
