Recent advances to 3D printing in dentistry has made a profound impact to the services that can now be provided within a dental clinic. This technology has significantly reduced the time it takes to manufacture crowns, bridges, caps, and dentures, and has improved patient outcomes. This presentation will focus on the 3D CAD-CAM dental technology and its impact on the services provided and overall operations in a dental clinic. We will also look at the design requirements and the impacts that this technology has on a facility’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) design requirements to include data networking requirements.
