The software-defined vehicle is no longer a future vision. OEMs, suppliers, software companies and technology providers are implementing it now and discovering that the hardest challenges often emerge between organizations, architectures and platforms.
This candid discussion brings together leaders from across the SDV value chain to compare what they are learning in practice: What is working? What isn't? What has been harder than expected? And where is the industry still solving the same problem multiple times?
Panelists will explore practical issues including software integration and reuse, hardware/software decoupling, vehicle data and interfaces, supplier relationships, development cycles, organizational change and the path from promising technology to production deployment.
Rather than focusing on individual products, the discussion will identify lessons attendees can apply to their own SDV programs and, importantly for the COVESA community, distinguish between challenges companies should solve competitively and those the ecosystem could address more effectively together.
The goal is to leave the audience with a practical question: Where can greater interoperability and collaboration remove friction from everyone's SDV journey?
