Veterinary medicine can be an emotional business. Clients, staff and leaders run a gauntlet of emotional ups and downs every day. This talk will provide a scientific description of the biochemicals that are responsible for our emotions. Attendees will understand how biochemicals can trigger negative actions (i.e. bad social media review) as well as great acts of kindness (i.e. thank you cards and cookies). Armed with this information, attendees can maximize good feelings and reduce negative ones therefore, promoting happiness, and loyalty in clients and staff.
