Presentation from the Roundtable
Let’s Collaborate to Detect New Invasive Species
Dealing with a pesky invader? Need advice on dealing with a new species? Join the staff from Wisconsin DNR and UW-Extension in discussing new wetland invasive species. This roundtable conversation will start with a brief presentation on new invasive species, major discoveries, and the identification and control of both. We plan on discussing new invaders to both the state of Wisconsin and new invasions in regions where species have been absent. Following the presentation, we will open discussion to give you an opportunity to ask staff about the invasive species you're facing in the landscape, share your experiences about these and other invaders and the ways in which they are influencing your conservation work, and seek guidance from others.
