Students will learn various references as well as choreography found in Shakespeare's plays.
You can speak the text, but can you dance the jig? Not only was dancing a part of socializing and way of life in the 15th and 16th centuries, it is also featured prominently in many of Shakespeare’s plays. Students will participate in a fun, full-body warmup; learn about various references in some of their favorite scripts; watch a dance performed at The Globe; and learn choreography. It’s time to dance with the Bard!
