Why and How Theater Journalism Is Arts Advocacy: an introduction to an approach to theater journalism as one that works to uplift the underserved of the industry, as well as for the industry at large. Ashley Lee will explain her forward-thinking approach to assignments, go over the do's and dont's of writing about theater, and workshop any ideas that students may have about arts injustices in their communities. She is also open to answer any questions about being a staffed entertainment journalist in the digital age.
