Breakout Session 1.4 Improving School Performance With District-Wide Instructional Initiatives
The purpose of this session is to engage key stakeholders in increasing school performance through utilizing instructional initiatives and implementing evidence-based creative strategies to increase student performance. We will explore how Nash County Public Schools utilizes research-based best practices that can be utilized within meetings and the classroom to equip educators with best practices to increase student proficiency and growth. We will provide a variety of verbal response procedures that can increase accountability, check for understanding and impact student learning. This presentation is designed to show the tools and strategies NCPS has implemented to remove our low performing designation and continue our journey towards high-quality academic experiences for all.
