As our school strives to raise student achievement, we recognize that it is crucial to explore both innovative during-school and after-school strategies that address our students' academic and social needs. Our staff serves over 900 students, with 18% identified as Exceptional Children, in a transient community. In the past two years, our school has grown from a low-performing status with a performance grade of F to a school that has a grade of C and is meeting growth expectations. In our session, we will share initiatives our school has implemented to increase student performance across grade levels. These initiatives include individualized instructional support, enrichment activities that encourage and motivate students, and systems that prioritize learning. Our presentation will offer creative methods for schools to develop similar programs to enhance student achievement. Presenters: Tracey Lubawski, Casey Avent
