Improving school culture is serious business, but that doesn't mean leaders can't have fun! This session aims to show leaders how to use pop culture (TV, music, movies) to break down barriers with students, staff, and stakeholders by having fun and being their authentic selves. The best leaders make connections and aren't afraid to be vulnerable. However, in today's climate, being vulnerable leaves you...well, vulnerable. However, by sharing our passion for pop culture (or fandom) we can make connections with others without revealing too much of ourselves.
